Native to northwest Indiana, I was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. I was one of the first to attend Emerson Visual and Performing Arts as an Art Major, later serving in the United States Marine Corps as a Graphic Illustrator. I honorably finished my military career as a senior enlisted officer in charge of the Graphic Division of the Combat Visual Information Center (CIVIC) in Quantico, Virginia.
